These Two Found Each Other Across the Distance – Lisa & Jason
Lisa wasn’t the only one who was skeptical about online dating, and it didn’t help that when she finally matched with Jason, he was all the way in Dallas, TX while she was in New York.
But, as soon as Jason sent that first message, everything immediately felt so natural. Both of them came to realize how similar they were despite their different backgrounds, and their chemistry was so natural that even initial phone calls were a breeze – both of them truly felt that they could be completely themselves while talking to the other person.
After texting and talking on the phone for about 1 month, Lisa decided to fly out to Dallas to meet Jason for the first time. They met at an arcade expecting to hang out for about an hour or so, but both of them ended up staying way longer than planned. Although they were both initially a little nervous to meet for the first time, their date ended quite a few hours later with their first kiss.
Over the next year or so, there were more dates that consisting of escape rooms, paint nights, Top Golf (they’re both competitive so this is always a good time), and most recently, wedding planning! For one of their earlier dates, Jason & Lisa had gone to a pottery painting place, and he had painted a jewelry box for her. About one year later, Jason ended up proposing to Lisa by popping the question using this very jewelry box! Lisa was completely thrown off and started tearing up immediately in the moment, but of course she said yes. They just got married this past summer in Dallas, TX, and we are so incredibly happy for the two of them. Congratulations, Jason & Lisa!
