“Why Paris? Because on our first date I told Vrajesh that Paris was on the top of my travel bucket list, and I’d wanted to go since I was a little kid.”
We both swiped right to learn that we never crossed paths even though for a couple of years we lived less than 5 miles from each other and had a lot of friends in common. We finally did thanks to Dil Mil.
Vrajesh was always intrigued by my smile, which led him to ask me out to Starbucks for a cup of coffee where we first met (my profile said I LOVED coffee) in February 2016. After a couple more casual dates, it didn’t seem like it was going anywhere. But, after a month of not talking, I decided to reach out to Vrajesh because I knew there was something different about him. This ignited everything.
We started spending more time together and spent countless hours talking on the phone late at night. From swiping right over 3 years ago, we came all the way to a Paris proposal. On 9-23-2018, I said yes to marry my best friend. He had the biggest smile on his face, the same smile I first saw at Starbucks back in 2016. Can’t wait for July 2020!
Every moment has been beautiful. And the best part is, our journey is just beginning.
