New Web Series “Dialogues of Diaspora” Highlighting Hybrid-Identity Stories of Immigrants Premieres 5/27

The Dialogues of Diaspora™ production house unveiled the premiere date and official trailer for Season 1 of its highly anticipated talk show – Dialogues of Diaspora – making its global YouTube debut on Friday, May 27. With support from the entire team at Dil Mil, the series explores untold stories from the South Asian Diaspora through riveting, in-depth conversations with a star-studded ensemble.
As a dating app in the heart of San Francisco for all the children of the desi diaspora across the world in countries like the US, Canada, UK and Australia, the Dialogues of Diaspora x Dil Mil series collaboration highlights stories that we can all relate to. Despite where we may currently be living, a lot of our experiences are entirely universal.
Season 1 is an enticing three-part, guest-on-guest web series shot at Dishoom’s Carnaby location in London’s eclectic Soho neighborhood. Episode 1 offers viewers a fun, comprehensive look into South Asian British history with Dishoom’s Co-Founder Shamil Thakrar and Founder of @thehistorycorridor on Instagram, Shalina Patel. In Episode 2 releasing Friday, June 10, music stars Priya Ragu and Leo Kalyan take the screen and reflect on their musical journeys.
In the Season 1 finale, set to release Friday, June 24 – South Asian female influencers, Simran Randhawa and Arooj Aftab, share stories on their upbringing and culture. These three discussions offer a unique glimpse into the complexity of the South Asian Diaspora and the myriad of stories involved. The power of these must-tell tales are finally given the platform they deserve.
